Crave Coffee House & Bakery, nestled in Kingston, is a fantastic locally owned spot that truly impressed during our recent visit. Despite being quite busy, the vibrant atmosphere and excellent offerings made it clear why it's a popular choice. Upon entering, the first thing that strikes you is the sheer spaciousness of Crave. Unlike many cramped coffee shops, Crave offers an incredibly generous layout with an abundance of indoor seating. This makes it an ideal spot not just for a quick stop, but also a perfect haven for productivity – definitely a place I'd recommend bringing your laptop to get some work done. The comfortable setup encourages lingering, whether you're catching up with friends or tackling a project. But what's a coffee shop without its namesake? Crave delivers a truly exceptional cup of coffee – rich, expertly brewed, and satisfying. Beyond the excellent brew, their selection of bakery items and sandwiches is extensive and tempting. Whether you're craving a sweet treat to go with your coffee or a more substantial meal, Crave has a diverse array of options that cater to every appetite. In summary, Crave Coffee House & Bakery is a true gem in Kingston. With its welcoming, spacious environment, delicious food and drink options, and commitment to local charm, it's a must-visit whether you're looking for your morning pick-me-up, a casual lunch, or a productive workspace. Highly recommended!

Kingston’s downtown has no shortage of cozy cafés, but CRAVE Coffee House & Bakery manages to stand out with its warm, ambient space that feels perfect whether you’re curled up with a book, cramming for exams, or catching up with friends. The vibe struck just the right balance between welcoming and inspiring — the kind of place you can happily spend hours in. From their drinks menu, the Coconut Matcha Cloud was light and dreamy, the coconut adding a soft sweetness that paired beautifully with the earthy matcha. The Pumpkin Spice Latte delivered all the cozy fall flavours we know and love, spiced just right without being overwhelming. And then there was the Cinnamon Bun — fluffy, gooey, and just the right amount of indulgent. CRAVE even takes things up a notch with seasonal specials like espresso or pumpkin-flavoured buns, making every visit feel like there’s something new to try. What really made the experience memorable was how thoughtful everything felt, from the creativity in the drinks to the quality of the baked goods, all tied together by a space that invites you to sit down, slow down, and savour the moment. CRAVE is more than a coffee house. It’s a little Kingston gem where comfort, creativity, and community come together. Lots of customers, cozy atmosphere and nice employees! Everything was delicious. We were walking around looking for a place that served vegan options and something else than eggs for breakfast/brunch. This was a great option. The lox bagel was great, may I suggest replacing the red onion with green onion, and adding capers, arugula and cucumber! And for the vegan carrot cake: good cake, the frosting is too sweet, perhaps try a cashew frosting that’s more salty/tangy like a cream cheese frosting!

Absolutely loved this place! Super cozy vibes, great coffee, and yummy treats. Tried the tiramisu coffee (pro tip: ask for less sugar), a flat white, and the banana chocolate chip bread—so good! Perfect spot to chill, catch up with friends, or even get some work done.

I’ve been ordering custom cakes from this café and bakery since 2023, and they’ve never disappointed! John is always amazing with my orders and makes sure everything turns out perfect. I also love coming here with friends for coffee. Their BLT bagel is also one of my favorites!

This coffee bakery shop in downtown Kingston serves excellent coffee and fresh pastries, but parking is a real challenge. Being in the heart of the core area means spots are scarce and often metered or time-limited. Plan to circle a bit or walk from farther away. There is outside patio as well. the food and cozy vibe are worth the hassle if you’re already nearby, but don’t expect easy parking!

We were visiting Kingston on Canada Day and decided to visit a local coffee shop for a sweet treat and drink. We got the mini banana cream pie and cake pops as our treat, and some iced drinks. I have to say that the banana cream pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. The dessert was fresh, a fair size, and tasted amazing. This dessert alone would have me coming back again for more! Our drinks were mixed up with the sizes we had ordered (we were given mediums, instead of large ones we had ordered & paid for) we didn’t say anything as it was packed and busy, and we just wanted to eat and drink, as it was hot outside. Now I do have to say that when we were ordering our food and drinks, it felt a bit chaotic behind the counter between the staff. Maybe the reason our coffees got mixed up. For example, the individual would take our order and then interrupt us ordering and go do something quick and then come back mid order. Also, I wouldn’t say that anyone was “overly-friendly”. It was busy, so I am definitely taking that into consideration, with how the service was, but that being said, our food and drinks were made fast, which I appreciate. I love coffee shops and love the smell of coffee and fresh baked goods, but this place smelt like burnt bread/food. It got to a point where we had to leave cause I couldn’t handle the burning food smell any longer. Overall, the smell and service was the reason I would give four stars. If we’re ever back in the area, I would definitely come back and try again, and of course give them the benefit of the doubt knowing how busy it was on Canada Day.
